Facilities Electrician - #2174362

DK Recruitment are currently seeking a skilled Facilities Electrician to join a facilities management team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician to work within a commercial environment, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance to ensure building services operate safely and efficiently.

The successful candidate will have a strong electrical maintenance background, a proactive approach to fault finding and the ability to work independently while delivering a high standard of service.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems and equipment.

• Respond to reactive maintenance requests, diagnosing faults and completing repairs.

• Undertake electrical inspections, testing and fault finding.

• Maintain lighting, power distribution, emergency lighting and associated building services.

• Ensure all work complies with current electrical regulations and health and safety requirements.

• Complete maintenance records, job sheets and compliance documentation accurately.

• Liaise with site teams, contractors and management to minimise disruption.

• Identify potential improvements and report any defects or safety concerns.

Requirements

• Recognised electrical qualification, such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.

• Previous experience in electrical maintenance, ideally within facilities management or a commercial environment.

• Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of current electrical regulations and safe working practices.

• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.

• Full UK driving licence.
