Looking for a finance role where the work genuinely matters? A well-regarded Bristol charity is searching for a qualified Financial Accountant to join its finance team and play a hands-on part in keeping the organisation financially strong.

This is a role with real variety. You'll own the month end process, work closely with colleagues across the organisation, and have genuine exposure to VAT, audit and statutory reporting. It suits someone who enjoys getting to the bottom of a problem and wants their expertise to be valued and put to good use.

What you'll be doing... Preparing month end journals, accruals and prepayments Managing bank reconciliations across multiple accounts

Completing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations Working with the finance operations team to resolve discrepancies, including income flowing from the CRM into the finance system Handling complex VAT matters and supporting audit work Playing a key role in year end and the preparation of statutory accounts

What you'll bring... A recognised accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW or equivalent) Strong reconciliation experience and a sharp eye for detail Confidence investigating and resolving discrepancies Experience of VAT and audit support Charity sector experience is a bonus, as is Business Central knowledge A collaborative approach and a willingness to roll your sleeves up
