Senior Buyer – Indirect Procurement- Permanent-Bristol (hybrid)- £55,000

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Buyer to join a growing technology and defence business, leading indirect procurement across IT, software, facilities and professional services.

This is a chance to take ownership of key spend categories, influence commercial strategy and drive improvements across the procurement function.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing strategies, competitive tenders and commercial negotiations.
• Negotiate supplier contracts, framework agreements and SLAs.
• Manage supplier relationships, performance and risk.
• Partner with stakeholders across finance, IT, HR, engineering and operations.
• Drive cost savings, process improvements and procurement best practice.
• Challenge requirements and identify opportunities to improve value.
• Coach and develop procurement team members.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in indirect procurement, ideally across IT, software, facilities or professional services.
• Strong contract negotiation and commercial management skills.
• Experience delivering sourcing strategies and competitive tenders.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing abilities.
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and supplier risk management.
• Experience managing and developing team members.
• A proactive, analytical approach with a focus on continuous improvement.
