Trainee Field Technician – Water Industry

We are recruiting Trainee Field Technicians across the Bristol area to support leak detection work within the water industry.

No previous water industry experience is required, making this a great opportunity for someone looking for a new career.

What you'll be doing:

• Carrying out field-based leak detection activities
• Using digital equipment to record information across the water network
• Travelling to different locations across the Bristol area
• Working independently outdoors
• Liaising with supervisors and working towards daily targets
• Completing manual tasks involving lifting, bending and stretching

What we're looking for:

• Full UK manual driving licence
• Comfortable with driving and working outdoors
• Reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable in a practical, hands-on role

Experience as a Van Driver, Delivery Driver, Multi-Drop Driver, Meter Reader, Labourer, Warehouse Operative, Field Technician or Utilities Operative would be beneficial, but full training is provided.
