Ready for a role where you can make a real difference?

At the WEA, what we do matters. Every day, we help bring adult education within reach of people and communities across the country, creating opportunities, tackling inequality and promoting social justice.

We’re looking for a Contract, Planning and Resource Specialist to help us do even more.

The opportunity

As one of our Contract, Planning and Resource Specialists, you’ll be the operational engine behind translating the contract into a delivery plan

Working with the Operational Leader, you’ll have the opportunity to explore:

  • Planning & Timetabling – Design and manage termly timetables that meet contract requirements and deliver the best possible experience for learners.
  • Resource Management – Make sure courses have the right tutors and venues in place, balancing quality, availability and cost-effectiveness.
  • Contract Delivery – Monitor and adapt timetables throughout the year to maximise course viability and respond to changing learner and contract needs.
  • Collaboration & Communication – Work closely with colleagues and stakeholders, keeping everyone informed of timetable plans, priorities and changes.
  • Data & Insight – Use data and reporting to identify trends, solve problems and continuously improve timetabling, resourcing and delivery.

Ultimately, you’ll play a key role in making sure we have the right courses, resources and people in place to successfully deliver for our learners.

We’re looking for someone who can bring their experience, ideas and enthusiasm to the role, but you don’t need to tick every box to make an impact.

If our mission resonates with you and you believe you have the skills and potential to succeed, we want to hear from you.

Why WEA?

You’ll be joining an organisation with a clear social purpose and a commitment to ensuring people from all backgrounds can access opportunities to learn and develop.

We’re equally passionate about creating an inclusive workplace where our colleagues feel valued, supported and able to be themselves.
