The school is looking to take on an Economics Teacher / Head of Economics on either a temporary or permanent basis, with an immediate start or January start considered. The successful candidate will teach Economics across Key Stage 4 / KS4 and Key Stage 5 / KS5, delivering engaging lessons, maintaining high classroom expectations and supporting students to achieve excellent academic progress, with the opportunity to take on departmental leadership responsibilities for those interested in the Head of Economics position.

The successful Economics Teacher / Head of Economics will have:

• QTS with an Economics or relevant subject specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply for the teaching position)

• Experience teaching Economics across Key Stage 4 / KS4 and Key Stage 5 / KS5

• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Economics

• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

• The ability to deliver engaging and differentiated Economics lessons

• Strong leadership potential or previous departmental leadership experience for candidates interested in the Head of Economics position
