Are you a Bid Manager / Bid Writer or Pre-Construction professional looking for a role where you'll work closely with the Directors, have genuine influence, and take ownership of bids from invitation to tender through to submission?

On offer is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established construction contractor with a strong position in the market, working on a range of public sector and private contractor within a close knit motivated team. This is a key hire due to business growth and will suit someone who wants to make their mark in a role with real autonomy and long-term progression potential.

In this position you will lead the bid process, reviewing tender documents, carrying out appraisals, and producing compliant written responses that allow the business to make strong, confident tender decisions. You'll work closely with the Estimator, Contracts Manager and wider team to shape programmes, logistics, planning and quality responses.

This role would suit a Bid Manager / Bid Writer with main contractor experience, looking for ownership, responsibility and the chance to have genuine impact within a stable, growing business.

The Role:

• Leading bid writing and compliance responses for construction tenders
• Reviewing invitations to tender and carrying out tender appraisals with the Estimator
• Working with the Contracts Managers and Estimators to develop logistics, costings and planning content
• Ensuring quality assessment requirements are understood and addressed

The Person:

• Experience writing and managing bids/tenders, producing compliant submissions
• Commercial Construction experience
• Good understanding of construction project sequencing / pre-construction
