  • Ensuring works comply with NRSWA requirements and permitting requirements.

  • Supporting the reporting of SHEQ incidents, accidents, near misses and service strikes.

  • Carrying out risk assessments and ensuring appropriate control measures are in place.

  • Supporting customer enquiries and complaints to achieve prompt and satisfactory resolutions.

  • Undertaking mains isolations for planned programmes and unplanned events.

  • Working with local authorities and other stakeholders to build effective relationships.

  • Supporting the assessment of delivery partner costs, service levels and quality.

  • Participating in the 24/7 operational standby rota as part of a multi-skilled team.

What we’re looking for

You’ll be organised, practical and comfortable working independently, with experience of working on water network contracts and a strong understanding of safe working practices.

You’ll also bring:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • A customer-focused approach.

  • Good IT skills and experience using mobile working technology.

  • Commercial awareness.

  • Experience working with external contacts and third parties.

  • An understanding of planning activities and traffic management.

  • The ability to analyse information and carry out risk assessments.

  • NRSWA Supervisor, EUSR Water Hygiene and Utility SHEA qualifications.

Experience or qualifications in SSSTS, temporary works or deep excavations would be advantageous.
