Are you a qualified Management Accountant looking for a role where you can get closer to the business and have real commercial impact? We're recruiting for a growing technology business in Bristol looking to add a talented Management Accountant to its finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone who combines strong technical accounting skills with a commercial mindset and enjoys working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

The role

Working closely with the wider finance team and key stakeholders across the business, you'll take ownership of management reporting while helping provide the insight behind the numbers.Key responsibilities will include:

• Producing accurate and timely monthly management accounts
• Managing month-end processes including journals, accruals and prepayments
• Preparing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
• Providing insightful variance analysis and commentary
• Partnering with stakeholders to help them understand performance and financial results
• Supporting cash flow reporting and financial analysis
• Identifying opportunities to improve reporting, controls and finance processes
• Supporting year-end reporting and external audit requirements
• Contributing to wider finance projects as the business continues to grow

What you'll need to succeed

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
• Strong management accounting and month-end experience
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to turn financial data into meaningful insight
• Strong Excel and financial systems experience
• Confident communication and stakeholder management skills
• A proactive, commercially minded approach
• Someone comfortable working within a fast-moving and changing environment
