Are you a creative communicator with a passion for storytelling, digital content and audience engagement?We're looking for a Communications Officer to join a well-respected national organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape public engagement, create compelling content and support communications campaigns that connect with diverse audiences.
The Role
As Communications Officer, you'll play a key role in delivering engaging communications across multiple channels. Working closely with operational teams and stakeholders, you'll create content that promotes projects, events, community engagement initiatives and organisational priorities.You'll be responsible for:
- Creating compelling content for digital, print and social media channels
- Developing and delivering communications campaigns to support strategic objectives
- Writing press releases, news stories, blogs and stakeholder communications
- Managing and growing social media presence and audience engagement
- Supporting media relations and responding to communications enquiries
- Producing high-quality photography, video and multimedia content where required
- Monitoring campaign performance and providing insights and recommendations
- Building strong relationships with internal teams and external partners
- Ensuring brand consistency across all communications activity
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in communications, PR, marketing or public affairs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong content creation and storytelling abilities
- Experience managing social media platforms and digital campaigns
- Confidence working with a range of stakeholders and external partners
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects
- Experience using analytics and reporting tools to measure engagement
- A proactive, creative and collaborative approach
