Opportunity: Employment Lawyer (3+ PQE)

Location: Bristol | Hybrid or Remote

Salary: Up to £90,000 + Bonus

We're working with a highly respected specialist employment firm in Bristol that regularly competes with much larger practices and is consistently recognised in Legal 500 and Chambers.

The Opportunity:

The firm was founded by a highly experienced employment lawyer with a background at the Bar and leading City and regional firms, who remains closely involved in the work.

You'll work alongside them on complex employment matters, senior exits, Tribunal litigation and strategic advisory work, gaining direct exposure to high-quality work and senior clients.

It's a chance to develop your career in a specialist environment without becoming one of dozens of lawyers in a large department.

The Work:

You'll handle a varied employment caseload, typically around 75% employer / 25% employee, covering contentious and non-contentious matters including:

• Employment Tribunal claims
• Senior exits and executive advice
• Discrimination and whistleblowing
• Restructures and redundancies
• Restrictive covenants and post-termination issues
• Contracts and general advisory work
• Client training and management workshops
• Seminars and business development

Clients include regional and national employers, senior executives and C-suite individuals.

• 1-2 days a week in the Bristol office, with fully remote working considered for more experienced lawyers

Who Are They Looking For?

They're open to employment lawyers from 3+ PQE upwards with solid experience across a broad employment caseload.

You'll ideally have experience advising employers and individuals, be confident with clients and take a commercial, pragmatic approach.

For more experienced lawyers, there's a route towards partnership and potentially equity. There's also support towards becoming a part-time fee-paid Employment Judge.
