SALARY: £45,000 to £55,000 per annum (depending on experience) + Benefits

LOCATION: Remote / Home Based - with occasional travel to customer sites UK-wide and the Bristol office when required

JOB TYPE: Full-Time,Fixed-Term Contract (ending 31 March 2027)

WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

JOB OVERVIEW

Develop Microsoft Cloud consultancy capability while contributing to customer projects in a supportive, senior-led delivery team. The Microsoft 365 & Azure Consultant will implement and support Microsoft 365 and Azure solutions across varied environments.

The Microsoft 365 & Azure Consultant will own defined delivery activities, working with senior consultants and wider teams to achieve high-quality outcomes. Customer engagement and technical documentation are central to the opportunity.

With exposure to enterprise deployments and Microsoft technologies, the Microsoft 365 & Azure Consultant will build autonomy and technical responsibility within agreed designs and delivery standards.

DUTIES

Your duties as the Microsoft 365 & Azure Consultant include:

• Microsoft 365 Delivery: Implement, configure and support Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Purview, Intune, Defender and Microsoft Entra ID across customer projects
• Azure Solution Delivery: Design, configure and implement Azure identity, compute, networking, security and management services within agreed customer solutions
• Testing and Cutover: Participate in testing, validation, migration and cutover activities to support stable, high-quality delivery
• Technical Troubleshooting: Resolve Microsoft Cloud issues during delivery and early life support, escalating complex or non-standard scenarios appropriately
• Delivery Standards: Complete assigned technical tasks and workstreams in line with agreed solution designs, customer requirements and internal standards
• Project Collaboration: Work closely with senior consultants and wider delivery teams to support end-to-end project delivery
• Technical Documentation: Produce implementation notes, configuration records and handover artefacts
• Discovery and Readiness: Support discovery activities, technical assessments and readiness checks across Microsoft Cloud technologies
• Customer Engagement: Communicate professionally with customers throughout delivery and maintain a customer-focused approach
• Knowledge and Development: Contribute to knowledge sharing, reusable assets, continuous improvement and Microsoft certification activity

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Essential

• Hands-on experience delivering Microsoft 365 solutions in customer environments
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Purview, Intune, Defender and Microsoft Entra ID
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including identity, compute, networking, security and management services
• Experience performing configuration, implementation and validation tasks within a guided project team
• Strong attention to detail with a structured and methodical approach to delivery and testing
• Clear written and verbal communication skills suitable for customer-facing consultancy delivery
• Ability to take ownership of defined tasks while collaborating closely with senior consultants
• Customer-focused, pragmatic and quality-driven approach with sound technical judgement
• Right to Work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available for this role

Desirable

• Experience delivering Microsoft Teams Voice or enterprise collaboration solutions
• Experience working in a consultancy, MSP or partner delivery environment
• Exposure to solution design discussions or pre-sales support activities
