A successful accountancy practice in Bristol is looking to recruit an experienced Tax Senior to join its growing tax team. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional who enjoys client contact and is looking to broaden their experience across both compliance and advisory work.

As Tax Senior, key responsibilities will include:

- Managing a portfolio of tax clients and ensuring all compliance requirements are completed accurately and within deadline

- Preparing P11D forms and supporting clients with related tax matters

- Liaising directly with clients, HMRC and other professional advisers on a range of tax issues

- Assisting with tax planning opportunities

- Keeping up-to-date with changes in legislation and ensuring advice remains accurate and relevant

The successful Tax Senior will bring:

- Previous experience within a tax or accountancy practice environment, together with a genuine interest in developing your career within tax.

- You'll ideally hold ATT, CTA, ACA or ACCA qualifications, or be part-qualified and progressing towards one of these.

- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills will be essential, alongside the ability to explain technical tax matters clearly and confidently to clients.

- You'll also be comfortable working to deadlines, managing a varied workload and adapting to the busier periods of the tax calendar.
