A leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Bristol has a Corporate Tax Senior role for a CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualified professional ready to take on a more demanding portfolio and build towards manager level.

Bristol's commercial market is broad and increasingly sophisticated, and the firm's client base reflects that, with advisory work that goes well beyond the routine. The team is technically strong and collegiate, with a supported pathway to Manager. Crowe Watson Recruitment understands the corporate tax landscape across Bristol and the wider South West.

What's the day to day of the role:

• Preparing and reviewing corporate tax returns and computations across a varied portfolio
• Supporting managers and partners on advisory assignments
• Building client relationships as a reliable and knowledgeable point of contact
• Keeping up to date with UK corporation tax legislation and communicating changes to clients
• Identifying tax planning opportunities across the portfolio
• Supervising and developing junior members of the corporate tax team

Required skills and qualifications:

• CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualified with a solid corporate tax background gained in practice
• At least three years' experience within a UK Practice environment
• Proven experience preparing and reviewing corporate tax returns and computations
• Strong technical knowledge of UK corporation tax legislation and current developments
• Confident client facing manner, commercially minded, with the ambition to progress to manager level
