The Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a responsible, reliable and enthusiastic team player to become an integral part of our Front of House team. As a Front of House Assistant, you’ll be reception-based, helping to ensure our visitors, members and guests receive a warm and professional welcome whilst supporting the wider Front of House operation across our 3 sites.
While reception will be your main base, you’ll move between the sites as required, helping members and visitors, supporting events, handling deliveries and administration, and making sure our spaces are always ready and well presented.
You’ll be trained on our internal systems, processes and ways of working, giving you the confidence and knowledge to provide Front of House support across any of our three sites when required.
We’re looking for someone who is energetic, proactive and eager to get involved, with a great eye for detail and the ability to think ahead. You’ll regularly look at the calendar and booking system to understand what’s happening across the sites, anticipate what needs to be prepared and assist the Events Coordinator to make sure everything is ready, both in advance and on the day.
Please note that due to the nature of this role we are unable to offer flexible or hybrid working arrangements.

Main duties include:
- Warmly welcoming visitors to the building & ensuring a seamless experience
- Emailing members, suppliers and visitors
- Receiving and distribution of mail and deliveries
- Ordering & stock control of supplies e.g. coffee, tea, milk, snacks, stationery etc.
- Ensuring all communal areas are in good order
- Meeting room & associated catering bookings
- Assisting with event set up and delivery
- Supporting the wider team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as required
What you need to bring to the role of Front of House Assistant:
- Reliability
- Organisation & great attention to detail
- Great communication skills
- Care for the experience of customers
- A vibrant and energetic attitude
- Enthusiasm and confidence to talk to new people
- Flexibility and willingness to cover across our 3 sites as required (all within walking distance of each other)
- Independence with the ability to take initiative
- Proficiency in IT, plus open to learning new systems & software
