An exciting opportunity for a Category Manager with Software experience to take ownership of a broad and commercially important portfolio within Financial Services.

You'll lead procurement activity from business need through to sourcing, negotiation and contract award, working closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation.

The portfolio has a particular focus on Software, with significant procurement activity.This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys strategic sourcing, stakeholder engagement and delivering strong commercial outcomes.

• Develop and deliver category strategies.

• Lead complex end-to-end IT sourcing and tender programmes.

• Build category pipelines and procurement roadmaps.

• Develop sourcing strategies and commercial approaches.

• Lead supplier engagement, evaluation and negotiations.

• Deliver savings, value and wider commercial benefits.

• Partner with and influence senior stakeholders.

• Support new procurement systems and processes where required.

An established Category Manager who can independently lead complex sourcing programmes and operate confidently with senior stakeholders.

• Experience in Software category is a must

• End-to-end strategic sourcing and Category Management

• Regulated or highly governed environments.

You'll need to be comfortable leading tenders independently, managing complex procurement activity and influencing senior stakeholders.
