We are seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Parts Advisor to join a reputable commercial dealership in Avonmouth. • Salary up to £33,575 per annum, negotiable based on experience
• 40-hour working week, Monday to Friday, with alternating shifts (7:00am-4:00pm or 9:00am-6:00pm)
• One in three Saturdays, 8:00am-1:00pm, paid as overtime
• 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing to 25 after 5 years and 27 after 10 years

Duties of the Parts Advisor:

• Dealing with trade and retail customer enquiries regarding vehicle parts
• Accurately identifying parts, processing orders, and ensuring timely dispatch
• Providing high-quality customer service face-to-face, via email, and over the phone
• Carrying out parts stock control and managing inventory
• Supplying parts to Vehicle Technicians within the workshop
• Working closely with the Parts Manager and supporting the smooth operation of the Parts Department

Requirements of the Parts Advisor:

• Recent or current experience as a Vehicle Parts Advisor within a franchise-approved automotive dealership
• Knowledge of vehicle parts, ideally including commercial vehicles (preferred but not essential)
• IT literate, with experience working with electronic parts catalogue systems
• Holding a UK driving licence with minimal points
• Strong customer service and sales skills, with a friendly and professional telephone manner
• Residing within a reasonable commuting distance of Avonmouth
