Commercial Manager - #2153775

I’m working with an established building services contractor looking to strengthen its commercial team in Bristol.

This is for someone who can take ownership of commercial performance across major construction work, while supporting and developing the wider commercial team.

You’ll be involved across:

• Commercial and financial reporting
• Cost control and forecasting
• Contract and commercial risk
• Subcontractor management
• Client relationships
• Variations and change management
• Supporting and developing Quantity Surveyors
• Driving strong commercial processes across the project

I’m looking for someone with a strong Quantity Surveying or commercial management background who is comfortable operating at senior level.

Experience within M&E, building services or specialist contracting would be particularly relevant, although I’m also happy to speak with people from wider construction backgrounds with significant M&E exposure.

Knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts would be useful. The underlying brief does require strong contract knowledge and experience around major contractors. Commercial Manager - Bristol

The salary is genuinely open and will depend on the individual.
