Pre-Construction Manager – Bristol

£80,000 – £90,000 + Bonus | Permanent | Fit Out & Refurbishment

An opportunity to build and lead a new Bristol office for a successful and rapidly growing fit-out and refurbishment contractor.

We are recruiting an experienced Pre-Construction Manager to join an established business as they expand their operations into Bristol and the wider South West.

This isn't simply another Pre-Construction Manager position. You'll have the opportunity to head up a new regional office, develop key client relationships and play a major role in growing the business across the region.

The Role

Working with the senior management team, you will take responsibility for the pre-construction process while helping establish the company's Bristol operation.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading projects through the full pre-construction phase

• Managing tenders from initial enquiry through to contract award

• Reviewing drawings, specifications and client requirements

• Developing budgets, programmes and procurement strategies

• Managing subcontractor enquiries and tender packages

• Identifying commercial risks and opportunities

• Attending client meetings and presentations

• Building relationships with clients, consultants and supply-chain partners

• Working closely with estimating, commercial and operational teams

• Helping develop and grow the Bristol office

About You

We're looking for someone with strong experience within commercial fit-out and refurbishment who is ready to take the next step in their career.

You may currently be working as a Pre-Construction Manager, Senior Quantity Surveyor, Commercial Manager or Estimator.

You'll need strong commercial knowledge, excellent client-facing skills and the drive to take ownership of a growing regional operation.
