Sewing Machinist - Gloucestershire (Relocation Support)

We are currently recruiting Sewing Machinists to join an established manufacturing team in Gloucester. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sewing machinist to work on high-quality garments within a skilled production environment.

Location: Gloucester, Gloucestershire
Pay Rate: £13.37 per hour
Role Type: Full-time, Permanent
Overtime: Paid at 1.5x the standard rate
Bonus: Incentive bonus scheme
PLEASE NOTE: Candidates must be local to Gloucestershire or committed to relocating to the area.

About the Role
As a Sewing Machinist, you will assist the sewing production line with customer orders and contribute to the manufacture of high-quality garments.
You will be expected to work efficiently, follow instructions carefully and achieve daily production targets while maintaining excellent standards of quality and attention to detail.
Training will be provided on the job, with a 3-month probationary period for successful candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate sewing machines as part of the production line
• Assist with the production of customer orders
• Complete sewing tasks accurately and efficiently
• Work towards daily production targets
• Follow production instructions and processes carefully
• Maintain high standards of quality and workmanship
• Ensure excellent attention to detail throughout the production process
• Work effectively as part of the wider production team

Working Hours

• Monday-Thursday: 7:45am-4:30pm
• Friday: 7:45am-1:30pm

Breaks:

• 15-minute paid break
