As a Secondary English Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4, supporting students to develop their reading, writing and analytical skills.

The role would suit an experienced English Teacher or ECT with QTS who is specifically looking for part-time teaching work.

You will be expected to plan and deliver lessons effectively, assess student progress and maintain a positive classroom environment.

• Planning and delivering engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Supporting students to develop their literacy, reading and writing skills.
• Assessing and monitoring student progress.
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively and consistently.
• Adapting lessons to meet different learning needs.
• Preparing appropriate resources and learning materials.
• Working collaboratively with the English department.
• Following school policies and safeguarding procedures.
