Solicitor- Corporate/Commercial Litigator

• Location: Leeds, Cardiff, or Bristol (Hybrid/Remote options available)

We are seeking a Solicitor/FCILEx or equivalent to join our Contract Resolution Group within the Civil Litigation Division. This role offers the opportunity to handle a diverse caseload of Civil Litigation cases, primarily arising from contractual disputes.

It is a challenging yet rewarding position with options for both office and remote working.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Manage a caseload involving fast, intermediate, and multi-track cases, primarily dealing with contract disputes from the sale of goods and services, building contracts, and professional negligence.
• Engage with clients both over the phone and face-to-face.
• Utilise our case management system to efficiently progress files.
• Handle billing and invoicing tasks.
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to a supportive working environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience advising individual and commercial clients in contract-based disputes across Fast and Multi-Track claims.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with a pragmatic approach.
• Client-focused with excellent communication abilities.
• Proficient in using case management systems and IT literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Qualified Solicitor (LLB/CILEX Route), CILEx (Qualified to FCILEx level), or equivalent experience.
