COMMERCIAL GAS ENGINEER

Full Time | Bristol | 1-in-4 Callout Rota

Our client is an established, nationwide provider of Facilities Maintenance and commercial building services, delivering planned and reactive maintenance solutions to a diverse portfolio of clients across the UK.

With a team of experienced engineers and a nationwide operational presence, they provide specialist commercial gas, heating, plumbing, electrical and mechanical services across a range of sectors.

Due to continued growth and ongoing demand for their services, they are now looking for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join their expanding team in Bristol.

Due to continued growth, our client is looking for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join their expanding team in Bristol.

You will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, servicing, repairs and installations across a range of commercial gas, heating and hot water systems, ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.

• Inspect, service and maintain commercial gas appliances, central heating plant and plant room equipment.
• Attend reactive, diagnostic and emergency repair calls.
• Carry out fault-finding, repairs and maintenance on commercial heating and hot water systems.
• Install commercial gas appliances, central heating plant and associated plant room equipment.
• Participate in a 1-in-4 emergency callout rota.
• Provide an effective response to emergency and out-of-hours breakdowns.

• Current ACS qualifications.
• Commercial Gas Safe registration.
• Relevant Commercial Gas qualifications.
• Experience within commercial mechanical services, heating and hot water systems.
• Strong experience in commercial gas servicing, maintenance and fault-finding.
• Domestic Gas, Industrial Gas, Gas Catering or LPG qualifications would be advantageous, depending on the role and work undertaken.
• Full, current UK driving licence.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.
• Must be able to successfully complete a DBS check, subject to the requirements of the role and client sites.

Our client is offering a salary of £43,000–£45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
