Cleaning Operative - #2149189

We’re looking for a reliable, experienced Cleaning Operative to join a busy supported housing team on an initial 6-week contract, starting ASAP in Bristol. 

You’ll be responsible for cleaning communal areas, rooms and vacant properties, helping to ensure accommodation is clean, safe and ready for new residents. The role will involve end-of-tenancy cleaning, deep/environmental cleans and maintaining high standards across multiple properties.

Key Duties

• Carry out cleaning of communal areas, rooms and vacant properties
• Complete end-of-tenancy and deep/environmental cleans
• Prepare void properties to a high standard for new residents
• Remove rubbish and dispose of it correctly
• Check communal areas, kitchens and laundry facilities are clean and free from hazards
• Carry out litter picking and other cleaning duties as required
• Carry out sharps sweeps where required
• Report repairs, hazards and safeguarding concerns
• Maintain accurate records using an iPad and compliance systems
• Work independently and as part of the wider housing team

What We’re Looking For

• Previous professional cleaning experience
• Experience of end-of-tenancy or deep/environmental cleaning
• Hotel, housekeeping or similar cleaning experience would be beneficial
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, organised and able to work independently
• Comfortable working around people with complex needs
• High attention to detail and a strong standard of cleanliness
• Understanding of sharps sweeps is an advantage, but training can be provided
• Full UK driving licence
• Access to a vehicle for work-related travel
