Property Litigation Associate

• Location: Bristol
• Hybrid - minimum 2 days per week in office

Join our client's Law firm during an exciting period of growth within their Litigation teams. This role involves handling a diverse range of property litigation matters and offers a chance to enhance both your individual and business profile within a supportive and experienced team.

Day-to-Day of the Role:

• Manage your own caseload of property litigation cases, including issues related to property damage, trespass, and nuisance.
• Resolve disputes commercially through court proceedings or alternative dispute resolution (ADR) techniques.
• Maintain high standards of client service while adhering to regulatory and company processes, with a focus on cost-efficiency.
• Meet annual billing targets and KPIs, ensuring effective risk management.
• Supervise and support junior team members, helping them achieve their financial targets and manage risks appropriately.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Comprehensive understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules and experience in litigating cases from inception to trial.
• Proven experience in resolving cases through mediation and other forms of ADR.
• Property-specific litigation experience is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously and learn independently.
• Management or supervisory experience is beneficial, particularly in overseeing Solicitors or Paralegals.
• Experience in dealing with property-related disputes and knowledge of legal expenses insurance disputes is desirable.
