Senior Motor Trade Underwriter - #2148596

This is an exciting opportunity to combine technical underwriting expertise with broker relationship management, helping deliver profitable growth across the Regional Motor Trade Combined portfolio.

As a Senior Motor Trade Underwriter you will be:

• Underwriting new and existing Motor Trade Combined business.
• Developing and managing broker relationships across the region.
• Supporting portfolio growth through effective trading and retention activity.
• Taking ownership of complex underwriting cases and negotiations.
• Acting as a technical referral point for colleagues.
• Using market and broker insight to identify trends, risks and opportunities.

The successful candidate for the Senior Motor Trade Underwriter will have:

• Experience underwriting and trading Motor Trade Combined business.
• Knowledge of the broker market and regional trading environment.
• Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
• Sound underwriting judgement and technical expertise.
• Communication skills with the ability to influence brokers and stakeholders.
• Dip CII, or progress towards, would be advantageous.
