We’re looking for a proactive and skilled Geo-Environmental Consultant to join our growing team in Bristol. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of development and regeneration projects, helping clients identify environmental risks and deliver practical, sustainable solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Geo-Environmental Consultant, you’ll play a key role in assessing and managing land contamination and environmental risks. Your responsibilities will include:

Environmental Site Assessments – Conduct Phase I and Phase II assessments, including desk studies and ground investigations.

Contamination Assessment – Assess soil and groundwater contamination, identify pollutant linkages and undertake environmental risk assessments.

Technical Reporting – Prepare high-quality technical reports, including contamination assessments, remediation strategies and supporting documentation.

Project Delivery – Work alongside senior consultants and project managers to deliver projects safely, efficiently, on time and within budget.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement – Liaise with clients, contractors and regulatory authorities to ensure projects meet environmental regulations and industry best practice.

Innovative Thinking – Help develop practical and innovative solutions to land contamination and wider environmental challenges.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who combines strong technical knowledge with a practical, solutions-focused approach.

You’ll ideally have:

A degree in Environmental Science, Geology or a related discipline.

3+ years’ experience in geo-environmental consultancy or contaminated land assessment.

Good knowledge of UK environmental regulations and contaminated land guidance.

Experience with site investigation techniques, environmental sampling and data interpretation.

Strong technical report writing skills and excellent attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage with clients, colleagues and project stakeholders.

A full UK driving licence.
