  • Ensure mechanical installations meet relevant health and safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
  • Support inspections, pressure testing, flushing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.
  • Review and interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs, equipment layouts, and installation specifications.
  • Maintain accurate site records, progress reports, and installation documentation.
  • Identify potential risks, delays, and technical issues, implementing corrective actions where required.
  • Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available to maintain project progress.
  • Promote a positive safety culture and ensure compliance with site procedures and permit-to-work systems.

Essential Experience & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Superintendent, Mechanical Supervisor, Mechanical Foreman, or similar senior site-based role.
  • Significant experience in industrial boiler installation, boiler houses, or associated mechanical systems.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical installation, pipework, equipment setting, and industrial plant construction.
  • Experience supervising mechanical teams and subcontractors on large-scale projects.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and technical specifications.
  • Knowledge of mechanical testing, inspection, and commissioning processes.
  • Strong understanding of site health and safety requirements.
