  • Generate specifications through engagement with design consultants and engineering professionals.
  • Identify and develop opportunities across sectors including highways, rail, earthworks, industrial developments, commercial construction and infrastructure projects.
  • Provide technical presentations and product demonstrations to customers and stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with internal technical, engineering and customer service teams to deliver exceptional customer support.
  • Manage project pipelines using CRM systems and provide accurate sales forecasting.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and industry developments.
  • Attend industry exhibitions, networking events and customer meetings across the region.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and support tender opportunities where required.
  • Deliver sustainable growth through both account management and new business development activities.

Profile

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • Proven field sales experience within civil engineering, infrastructure solutions, drainage, ground engineering or related sectors.
  • Experience of selling and influencing stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Strong understanding of project-led sales environments.
  • Ability to engage confidently with engineers, consultants, contractors and procurement teams.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Commercial awareness with a results-focused mindset.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to manage a large geographical territory effectively.
  • Strong planning, organisational and pipeline management skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
