Junior People & Culture Partner
Salary: £40,000-£43,000
Location: Hybrid working with occasional travel to Cornwall (expenses covered). A full UK driving licence is required.
About the role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor looking to take the next step into a People Partner role. Working alongside a Senior People & Culture Partner, you'll support managers across the business, providing expert HR guidance and delivering people-focused solutions that drive engagement, performance and organisational success.
Key responsibilities
- Provide HR advice and guidance across the employee lifecycle.
- Manage Employee Relations cases including absence, disciplinary, grievance, performance and capability matters.
- Coach and support managers on people management best practice.
- Support organisational change, wellbeing and employee engagement initiatives.
- Deliver people-focused projects and continuous improvement activities.
- Analyse people data and trends to support decision-making.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and Trade Union representatives.
What we're looking for
- CIPD Level 5 qualified (or equivalent HR experience).
- Previous experience providing HR advice to managers.
- Strong Employee Relations experience and confidence managing cases independently.
- Good knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Excellent communication, coaching and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience delivering training and supporting change initiatives would be advantageous.
- Trade Union experience is desirable.
