Junior People & Culture Partner

Salary: £40,000-£43,000
Location: Hybrid working with occasional travel to Cornwall (expenses covered). A full UK driving licence is required.

About the role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor looking to take the next step into a People Partner role. Working alongside a Senior People & Culture Partner, you'll support managers across the business, providing expert HR guidance and delivering people-focused solutions that drive engagement, performance and organisational success.

Key responsibilities

• Provide HR advice and guidance across the employee lifecycle.
• Manage Employee Relations cases including absence, disciplinary, grievance, performance and capability matters.
• Coach and support managers on people management best practice.
• Support organisational change, wellbeing and employee engagement initiatives.
• Deliver people-focused projects and continuous improvement activities.
• Analyse people data and trends to support decision-making.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and Trade Union representatives.

What we're looking for

• CIPD Level 5 qualified (or equivalent HR experience).
• Previous experience providing HR advice to managers.
• Strong Employee Relations experience and confidence managing cases independently.
• Good knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Excellent communication, coaching and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience delivering training and supporting change initiatives would be advantageous.
• Trade Union experience is desirable.
