Room Leader – Bristol

Zero2Five are delighted to be working with a well-established private day nursery in Bristol who are looking for an experienced and passionate Room Leader to join their 2–4s Room.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Room Leader, or a confident Level 3 Nursery Practitioner ready to take the next step in their Early Years career.

The Role

As Room Leader, you will:

  • Lead and oversee the day-to-day running of the 2–4s room.
  • Support and motivate your team, ensuring staff are deployed effectively.
  • Create a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children.
  • Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS.
  • Complete observations, assessments and learning journeys.
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents and carers.
  • Act as a positive role model and champion safeguarding, health and safety and best practice.
  • Support the ongoing development of the team and setting.

We’re looking for:

  • Level 3 Early Years & Childcare qualification (or working towards).
  • Experience working within an Early Years setting.
  • Good understanding of the EYFS.
  • Level 2 English qualification.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, health & safety and confidentiality.
  • A caring, enthusiastic and team-focused approach.
  • Paediatric First Aid and Child Protection training are desirable.
