Are you an experienced B2B Sales or Business Development professional with a technical or engineering background looking for a new opportunity with a global engineering manufacturer?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established global manufacturer of electrical and industrial technology, supplying motors, gearboxes, drives, automation and wider electrical engineering products to industrial customers worldwide.

You'll be responsible for developing the company's presence across the Southwest of England and Wales, managing existing distributor relationships, engaging directly with end users and identifying new commercial opportunities.

This is a relationship and solutions-focused sales role rather than a pure cold-calling position, with strong technical support and an established customer base to develop.

The role offers excellent long-term career prospects, with genuine progression into larger sales or management responsibilities within a global engineering organisation.

The Role

• Manage and develop distributor accounts across Southwest England and Wales.
• Develop relationships with key end users and identify new business opportunities.
• Visit customers face-to-face and grow existing customer spend.
• Understand customer applications and provide technical solutions.
• Promote motors, gearboxes, geared motors, automation and related products.
• Manage the sales pipeline, territory activity and customer relationships.
• Conduct customer meetings and presentations.

The Person

• Proven B2B sales or business development experience.
• Technical or engineering background.
• Strong relationship-building and customer-facing skills.
• Commercially aware with strong communication skills.
• Comfortable understanding customer applications and providing solutions.
• Able to manage a territory autonomously.
• Experience within motors, gearboxes, automation, drives, electrical products or industrial engineering would be advantageous.
