Principal Civil Engineer (Water) - #2142136

Our client, a leading consultancy, is currently seeking a Principal Civil Engineer (Water) to join their expanding Water Infrastructure design team in Bristol on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading design engineering efforts for diverse water infrastructure projects, ranging in value from £1 million to £50 million
• Developing detailed designs, calculations, drawings, and reports for drainage infrastructure (including SuDS) and wastewater schemes
• Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integration of all project elements
• Managing design changes throughout the project lifecycle
• Supporting business growth through bid and tender preparation
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients

Job Requirements:

• Chartered Engineer status or working towards attaining it with a relevant institution such as ICE or CIWEM
• Comprehensive knowledge and experience in water and wastewater infrastructure design
• Proficiency in project delivery at all stages including detailed design, contract preparation, tender assessment, and contract administration
• Ability to communicate fluently and positively both verbally and in writing
