We are currently seeking an experienced SEND Case Officer to join a Pre-14 & Post-14 SEND Assessment, Planning and Review Team.
You will be responsible for managing a caseload of children and young people with SEND, coordinating the assessment, planning and review process and working closely with families, schools and other professionals.

We are currently seeking an experienced SEND Case Officer to join a Pre-14 & Post-14 SEND Assessment, Planning and Review Team.
You will be responsible for managing a caseload of children and young people with SEND, coordinating the assessment, planning and review process and working closely with families, schools and other professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of SEND cases from assessment through to review.
- Coordinate EHCP assessments, annual reviews and key stage transfer processes.
- Support the identification and securing of appropriate educational placements.
- Work closely with schools, families and partner agencies.
- Ensure EHCP processes are completed within statutory timescales.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders.
- Significant experience working within a Local Authority SEND/EHCP team.
- Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and statutory processes.
- Experience conducting annual reviews and key stage transfers.
- Experience of seeking and securing appropriate placements.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage a busy caseload and work independently.
