Senior Civil Engineer - Water

Advance TRS are recruiting for a Senior Civil Engineer to join a growing Water team in Bristol, working on a range of water and wastewater treatment and infrastructure projects.

The Role

• Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary design teams, taking responsibility for civil engineering design.
• Deliver feasibility, outline and detailed designs, reports and technical specifications.
• Work across the full project lifecycle, from early-stage design through to delivery.
• Develop sustainable solutions focused on cost, carbon efficiency and technical performance.
• Build strong relationships with major water-sector clients.
• Support project planning, commercial delivery and stakeholder management.
• Ensure projects meet H&S, environmental and technical standards.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring and support to junior engineers.

About You

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Chartered or Incorporated Engineer, or working towards Chartership with ICE, CIWEM or equivalent.
• Proven senior-level water-sector experience.
• Strong experience in water/wastewater design, ideally including hydraulics and treatment schemes.
• Experience delivering outline and/or detailed design.
• Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
• Eligible to work in the UK without restrictions.
