Service Engineer, Medical Devices, Decontamination, Bristol region to £48,000

A leading Medical Devices company have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Service Engineer to join their.  Engineering Department. The role is based in the Bristol area, and you will be responsible to undertake maintenance and diagnostic repair, to electrical/electronic, mechanical, plumbing, steam and pneumatic decontamination plant and equipment.

ABOUT YOU

• A National Certificate or National Diploma in engineering or technology accredited, registered electrical/fitting/plumbing apprenticeship

• Comprehensive knowledge of building services engineering

• Comprehensive knowledge of porous load sterilizers, bench top sterilizers, washer disinfectors, flexible endoscopes

• and ultrasonic cleaners

• Ability to fault find & problem solve

• Ability to interpret complex information and range of options

• Excellent communication skills

• Good IT skills

• Excellent organisational & time management & administration skills

• Able to communicate with internal staff and key contacts at contracts

• Attention to detail

• Initiative and drive to work independently

• Specialist training to accredited standard for competent person status experience in maintenance works
