Your Responsibilities

  • Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons
  • Lead small group interventions and targeted learning activities
  • Deliver lessons in the absence of the class teacher when required
  • Support pupils with varying learning needs and abilities
  • Promote positive behaviour and maintain a productive learning environment
  • Assist with planning, preparation, and classroom organisation
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff, parents, and external professionals to support pupil progress


Essential Requirements

  • HLTA qualification or substantial experience working at HLTA level (Desirable)
  • Previous experience working within a UK school setting (Mandatory)
  • Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and classroom practices
  • A minimum of 24 months of referenceable work history within the last 5 years (Mandatory)
  • Professional references provided from company/professional email addresses only (Mandatory)
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible, reliable, and proactive approach to work
