A leading not-for-profit organisation is seeking a talented Business Intelligence Analyst to join its growing Data & Analytics team.

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will develop engaging Power BI reports and dashboards that provide meaningful insight across the organisation. Working closely with stakeholders, business analysts and data engineers, you'll transform trusted data into actionable intelligence that supports service delivery, performance improvement and informed decision-making.

Business Intelligence Analyst - Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and enhance Power BI reports, dashboards and analytical solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into meaningful reporting and performance metrics.
  • Develop DAX measures and reporting logic.
  • Validate data, investigate anomalies and ensure reporting accuracy.
  • Work with governed datasets and agreed business definitions.
  • Apply GDPR, information governance and data security standards.
  • Produce clear technical documentation and user guidance.
  • Deliver stakeholder engagement, training and support to encourage adoption.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and increase self-service analytics capability.

About You- Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Strong experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards.
  • Good knowledge of DAX and Power BI data modelling.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience gathering requirements and managing stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience validating reports and resolving data quality issues.
  • Understanding of GDPR, confidentiality and data protection principles.
