Lead Electrician – Commercial Solar PV

Location: Site Based – UK Travel
Salary: £50,000–£55,000 + Van + Staying Away Package
Position: Full Time

We are recruiting an experienced Lead Electrician with a strong Commercial Solar PV background to lead electrical installation teams across projects nationwide.

This is a hands-on role for someone who has come through electrical installation and is comfortable leading electricians, apprentices and support engineers on site.

Responsibilities

Lead electrical installation teams on Commercial Solar PV projects
Oversee containment, cabling, termination, testing and commissioning
Coordinate with mechanical installation teams
Carry out quality checks and resolve installation issues
Manage daily workload and site resources
Mentor electricians and support engineers
Maintain high H&S and workmanship standards

Requirements

Strong Commercial Solar PV installation experience
Previous experience leading electrical teams
NVQ Level 3
AM2
ECS Gold Card
18th Edition
2391 or equivalent
Full UK Driving Licence
Happy to travel and stay away nationwide

Solar PV and EV qualifications advantageous.
