Location: UK Wide – Site Based, with nationwide travel and regular staying away
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 + Travel / Staying Away Package
Position: Full Time

We are looking for Mechanical Fitters / Solar PV Installers to join commercial Solar PV installation teams working across the UK.

You will work alongside Lead Fitters installing the mechanical elements of photovoltaic systems.

Responsibilities

• Assemble Solar PV mounting systems
• Install rails, brackets and associated equipment
• Work on commercial rooftop and ground-mounted systems
• Follow drawings and installation specifications
• Maintain high standards of quality and workmanship
• Support snagging and rectification works
• Work safely at height and in accordance with RAMS

Requirements

• Solar PV installation experience
• Mechanical fitting / installation experience
• Roofing, steelwork or construction background beneficial
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Good H&S awareness
• CSCS Card
• Full UK Driving Licence & Own vehicle 
• Happy to travel and stay away nationwide

Working at Height qualifications are advantageous.
