CNC Miller – Fanuc / 5-Axis

Salary: £17–£20 per hour DOE

The Role
A well-established precision engineering company is looking for an experienced CNC Miller / Setter Operator to join their growing precision engineering team. The role will focus on Fanuc-controlled machining centres and 5-axis machining, producing high-precision components for demanding industries including aerospace.

Key Responsibilities

• Set and operate Fanuc CNC milling machines
• Set and run 5-axis machining centres
• Load programs and make offset adjustments
• Read engineering drawings and machine to tight tolerances
• Self-inspect using precision measuring equipment
• Maintain high quality and production standards

Requirements

• CNC Milling Setter/Operator experience
• Fanuc controls experience
• 5-axis machining experience – essential
• Strong engineering drawing ability
• Experience machining precision components
• Confident using inspection equipment
• Fusion 360 experience advantageous
• Aerospace / AS9100 experience advantageous
