Temporary Assistant Accountant - #2131712

An exciting opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to join a growing finance team and support financial reporting, controls and month-end activities.

If you are AAT qualified with experience as an Accounts Assistant or a Senior Finance Assistant, you could align perfectly with this role. Experience across the board with accounting, reconciliations and month-end support are important areas that you will require experience in.

This is a 6-month temporary assignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing monthly accruals and prepayments
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Assisting with management accounts preparation
• Fixed asset accounting
• VAT returns and statutory reporting support
• Supporting audit requests and finance projects

About You

• AAT qualified or actively studying ACCA/CIMA
• Previous experience as an Assistant Accountant or Senior Finance Assistant
• Strong month-end experience
• Confident with accruals, prepayments and reconciliations
• Experience producing elements of management accounts
• Strong Excel skills, including lookups and data analysis
