The Role
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for supporting highly complex defence projects from inception through delivery, ensuring compliance with organisational policies and client expectations. Your daily activities will include developing and maintaining project plans, managing budget and schedule, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and providing critical reports on project performance. You will also support the development of business cases, influence project delivery strategies, and apply continuous improvement techniques to optimise outcomes.

You will have the following qualifications & experience:
- Proven experience in delivering defence projects with a focus on project controls, risk mitigation, and stakeholder management.
- Extensive knowledge of P3M frameworks, methodologies, and best practices, with practical application in complex environments.
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to operate independently and influence senior stakeholders.
- A track record of supporting successful project delivery within the UK defence industry.
- Qualifications in project management such as APM PFQ/PMQ, PRINCE2, or Agile Practitioner are desirable.
- An understanding of safety and environmental compliance requirements within defence programmes.
- Ability to attain security clearance and willing to be based in Bristol with occasional site visits.
