We're recruiting an experienced VAT Senior Manager to join a growing accountancy practice in Bristol.

This is a senior opportunity for a VAT specialist with strong technical expertise and commercial awareness. You'll advise a varied client portfolio on complex indirect tax matters, develop client relationships, generate new business and play a key role in the continued growth of the VAT team.

• Lead the delivery of VAT and indirect tax advisory services
• Advise clients on complex VAT transactions and technical issues
• Provide specialist advice on land and property, partial exemption and international VAT
• Advise charities and not-for-profit organisations on VAT matters
• Act as a senior point of contact for clients, Partners and colleagues
• Build and develop strong client relationships
• Manage and grow your own VAT portfolio
• Identify new business opportunities through networking and referrals
• Support and develop junior VAT professionals
• Work collaboratively with wider Tax and Advisory teams
• Keep up to date with VAT legislation, HMRC guidance and industry developments
• Contribute to the strategic development and growth of the VAT practice

• Significant experience in VAT and indirect taxation
• Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of VAT matters
• Previous experience within an accountancy or professional services environment
• Experience advising on property, partial exemption, international VAT and complex transactions
• Strong client relationship and advisory skills
• Commercially minded with proven business development and networking ability
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Leadership and mentoring experience
