Care & Community Support Workers | 3-Month Island Contracts (Scotland)

Rate: £23.00/hr (Umbrella)

Hours: 45+ hours per week (5-6 days)

Locations: Shetland, Orkney, Western Isles, Argyll & Bute

Relocation: Open to UK-wide applicants willing to travel

Looking for guaranteed hours, top-tier rates, and a change of scenery? We are recruiting Care Home and Community Support Workers for 3-month block-booking contracts across Scotland's scenic islands.

Role Options:

• Care Home Support Worker: Deliver hands-on support in residential care settings. Shifts cover long days (07:00-22:00), early/late splits, or night shifts (22:00-07:00). A driving licence is strictly required.

• Community Support Worker: Provide care for adults in their own homes. Shift patterns vary between 07:00-23:00. Requirements: Full UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle (mandatory for Orkney).

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience supporting older adults.

• Skilled in personal care, medication administration, and safe moving & handling.

• Fully competent with lone working.

• Note: Due to client personal care requirements, female candidates are currently preferred, though male applications are welcome for select roles.
