Property Disputes Solicitor

• Annual Salary: £40,000 - £60,000
• Location: Bristol
• Job Type: Full-time, Hybrid

We are seeking a Property Disputes Solicitor with 2-3 years PQE in litigation to join our Bristol office. This role involves managing a varied caseload of both residential and commercial property disputes, providing high-quality legal advice and representation to our clients.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Manage a caseload of property dispute matters from inception to conclusion.
• Advise clients on a range of residential and commercial property disputes.
• Handle landlord and tenant disputes, including possession claims and lease breaches.
• Manage boundary disputes, rights of way issues, restrictive covenants, easements, and adverse possession claims.
• Conduct debt recovery and service charge disputes relating to property matters.
• Draft legal documents, correspondence, witness statements, and court applications.
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings.
• Liaise with barristers, surveyors, experts, and other third parties.
• Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Participate in business development activities and build strong client relationships.
• Support junior team members where appropriate.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales.
• Ideally 2+ years PQE in Property Litigation or Property Disputes.
• Strong knowledge of property law, civil litigation procedures, and dispute resolution.
• Experience managing a caseload with minimal supervision.
• Proven ability to handle both residential and commercial property matters.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
