Corporate Tax Senior Manager

£65,000 to £80,000 per annum (DOE) | Permanent, full time

A leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Bristol is looking for a CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualified Corporate Tax Senior Manager to lead the delivery of complex compliance and advisory work across a broad and technically varied client portfolio.

The practice is ambitious and well regarded, with a client base spanning a range of sectors and complexity levels, and a structured pathway to partnership for the right person. What's the day to day of the role:

• Leading corporate tax compliance and advisory delivery across a complex client portfolio
• Advising on corporation tax, group structures, M&A, reorganisations and strategic tax planning
• Reviewing corporate tax returns and computations prepared by managers and junior staff
• Driving business development through proposals, networking and growing the practice
• Building senior client relationships and acting as trusted adviser to key stakeholders
• Leading and developing the managers and junior members of the tax team

Required skills and qualifications:

• CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualified with a strong corporate tax background gained in practice
• At least seven years' experience within a UK Practice environment
• Track record at manager or senior manager level on complex corporate tax advisory work
• Deep technical knowledge of UK corporation tax legislation
• Confidence to engage at board and partner level, with proven experience developing teams
• Commercially driven, with a strategic approach to business development
