Interim Finance Director / Head of Finance
Bristol | Hybrid (4 days on-site, 1 day WFH) | 4-6 Month Contract | Weekly Pay | ASAP Start

I'm currently recruiting for an Interim Finance Director / Head of Finance opportunity with a well-established Bristol-based business with a turnover of circa £5m & roughly 25 employees. This is a hands-on Number 1 finance role, reporting directly to the Owner/Managing Director and acting as the main point of contact for all finance matters across the business. You'll work alongside an experienced in-house bookkeeper who manages payroll, giving you the autonomy to focus on providing financial leadership, commercial insight and maintaining strong financial controls.

Key responsibilities include:
* Owning the finance function and leading all financial activities across the business
* Producing management accounts, cash flow forecasting and financial reporting
* Supporting the MD with commercial decision-making and business planning
* Managing budgeting, forecasting and process improvements
* Maintaining robust financial controls and compliance
* Working within Sage 50

The ideal candidate will be:

* An experienced Finance Director, Head of Finance or Financial Controller operating as a Number 1 in Finance
* Comfortable working in a small business environment and wearing multiple hats
* Hands-on, commercially minded and proactive
* Available to start ASAP
* Able to commit to 4 days per week on-site in Bristol
