Contract type: Full time
Work schedule: Full day
We’re working with an exciting, fast-growing start-up agency that has built a strong position in its market over the last two years. With a young and ambitious team behind it, this is an opportunity to join at an important stage of growth and play a key role in shaping how SEO develops.
As SEO Manager, you’ll own SEO across the full client base. You’ll create strategies, manage priorities and set the quality bar for SEO delivery. You’ll work closely with content writers and implementers, while also getting involved in technical SEO, Local SEO, reporting and the emerging world of AI search.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll own the SEO strategy across a portfolio of clients, using data from Google Search Console, GA4, Semrush, Rankability and site crawls to identify opportunities and build clear six-week action plans. You’ll manage around 60 tasks within each sprint, making sure priorities are clear and work is delivered to a high standard. You’ll review published work and maintain the overall quality of SEO output.
You’ll also oversee Local SEO at scale, including Google Business Profiles, citations and location pages. AI search visibility will be another important part of the role, with responsibility for tracking how clients are appearing across emerging search experiences.
Alongside the delivery side, you’ll help develop reporting and dashboards, work with the content and implementation team, and provide guidance and mentoring to support their development.
What experience you’ll need to apply
You’ll receive a £40,000 base salary plus a performance bonus of up to £5,000, giving you £45,000 OTE. The role is fully remote anywhere in the UK, with the flexibility and autonomy that comes with working in a growing business.
More importantly, you’ll have genuine ownership of SEO. There’s no senior SEO layer above you, so you’ll have the opportunity to shape the function, influence how the team works and see the impact of your ideas.
What’s next?
If this sounds like the right next step, apply via the button or get in touch with the consultant managing the role if you’d like to have an informal conversation about the opportunity.
