We are seeking an exceptional QA Lead to join a Middle Office Transformation Programme, driving the migration of a core wealth management platform from on-premises infrastructure to a fully cloud-native AWS environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and own the end-to-end QA strategy, roadmap and testing operating model across the programme.
  • Establish a clear, documented approach covering all testing phases throughout the SDLC, including ownership, governance and sign-off responsibilities.
  • Define the testing approach across functional, integration, system, end-to-end, user acceptance, performance, security and operational testing.
  • Develop the test environment strategy, including provisioning, management and support models, ensuring environments do not become a delivery bottleneck.
  • Lead the approach to end-to-end testing, ensuring data flows correctly across front-end applications, services, platforms and back-end reconciliation processes.
  • Create and implement a comprehensive test data management strategy.
  • Define and drive the non-functional testing strategy, including performance, scalability, resilience and operational readiness.
  • Champion modern test automation practices to enable high quality releases at speed.
  • Work closely with engineering teams, product stakeholders and consulting partners to embed quality throughout delivery.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience leading QA on large-scale transformation programmes.
  • Strong understanding of both legacy on-premises platforms and modern cloud-native architectures.
  • Deep expertise in test strategy, governance, automation and quality engineering.
  • Experience working within agile delivery environments and fast-paced, outcome-focused teams.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management and decision-making skills.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled software development and delivery practices is highly desirable.
